Rarebreed Dining, an independendant pub group based in the South East, asked me to come up with the brand identity for Rare, their new membership offering for frequent guests at their venures. The membership would give them access to the member lounges at their sites, along with a whole host of other benefits across the Rarebreed Group, such as private member events, preferential rates on venue hire, and special offers.

A monogram style mark was created which eluded to a stamp or seal, containing the Rare logotype laid over a simplified set of the Rare cleavers. In addition I formulated the typestyle, colour palette and visual identity for the new brand, which comprised a set of luxurious marble effect images, and designed an indicative set of membership pack items using these assets. These had finishing touches in metallic bronze to enhance the exclusivity of the look and feel.

“The new identity for Rare perfectly captured the premium nature of our offering, while Dan made some great suggestions for print techniques and finishes that gave the final pieces a real hint of sophistication to give our members something extra special.”
