Panaché du Sud – Artisan Shandy
Panaché du Sud is a new brand planning to re-invigorate the shandy category. To get cut-through, the client felt that this once-loved darling of the British drinking scene needed to be re-framed, so they have created an aspirational craft shandy which originates from the Cote d'Azur.
After receiving a number of aspirational images from the client, the brief was to produce a type based logo and design for the bottle, a 250ml ‘stubbie’ style beer bottle. The brown glass would allow for a simple elegant design to either be screen printed directly to the glass or printed on a clear label. The only requirement was to include a recognisable Cote d'Azur palm tree somewhere within the design.

Early design concepts

“Dan interpreted our requirements perfectly on this project, and after producing a number of high-quality initial design options, was meticulous in developing the final route. We look forward to working with him as the product develops.”
Alex Slater, Founder and Director, Panaché du Sud.
