The Stress Combat Toolkit

The Stress Combat Toolkit: How to build resilience, prevent stress and boost productivity, is a collection of tried, tested and proven ideas to help individuals within organisations prevent stress.

Authored by developmental coach Paul Griffiths, the Toolkit shares his wealth of experience in helping individuals, teams and organisations get better results. In his career, Paul spent over a decade managing and assisting others to manage people effectively in commercially challenging environments in the manufacturing, retail and FMCG sectors. Since 1987, Paul has worked as a consultant and coach with clients in banking, information technology, pharmaceuticals, leisure, retail, manufacturing, distribution, financial services and television. His international experience embraces 10 European countries, South Africa, the USA and Hong Kong.

The Toolkit, along with accompanying range of video tools, aims to deliver one-to-one training to build resilience, prevent stress and boost productivity for individuals within organisations. It identifies four key strategies to combat stress, enabling the individual to resolve tension, relieve pressure and recover from strain.

“This project was the culmination of my many years’ work and experience, channelled into one guide – the Toolkit. I had no preconceptions of how it should look, but from the moment I received the first designs back, it just felt exactly right. Aviary Creative were really receptive to my feedback, and it was a very easy experience working with them. When the printed Toolkit was finally in my hands, it really looked terrific!

We were asked to produce the visual identity for the Toolkit, which included the logo, brand assets and design and print production for the book. We also provided consultation and art direction for the series of around 125 Toolkit videos, which will be hosted on an e-commerce learning platform and delivered to the buyers of the Toolkit via their own dedicated account. The identity included a number of bespoke illustrations to be used on the title pages and throughout the page layouts.

In addition to the printed Toolkit, we also set up an email automation journey, so people who express an interest through the website, could request a free extract to get a flavour of the full book. This is sent back to them automatically, reducing the amount of admin the client has to deal with.
