George Bayntun is one of the world’s most famous bookshops and home to the Bayntun-Riviere bindery, which dates back to 1829. The bookshop specialises in fine bindings, both old and new, first and illustrated editions, with an emphasis on English literature, and familiar and unusual books.
With an existing loyal customer base and ever-growing presence of the local tourist trade in Bath, our task was to create a redesign and build of their website. This included some minor refinement to their brand identity, and the creation of a completely new content management system (CMS) to enable them to do quick and easy updates internally. We also produced and art directed new photography for the site and for use in external PR.
In addition, an email newsletter template was designed and built in HTML and hosted on a self sufficient web-based platform so Bayntun’s can create and send their own branded email newsletters.
